ABOUT ME

Holly is a Costume Designer who recently graduated from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA. Before attending Cornish, Holly graduated from Idyllwild Arts Academy in Idyllwild, CA.

She was born in Tver, Russia and adopted into a loving family that lives on the sunny beaches of Duck, NC. She grew up around the arts, ie. music, dance, and theatre. She started dancing and then the life of the theatre caught her eye. She acted for years, always being drawn to the costumes. It wasn't until when she was in high school did she learn more about the backstage life, and that's when she decided to embark on the costume journey. 

Holly loves to make a piece come to life with costumes. She has also always been drawn to period pieces. She loves anything from the 1700's or earlier, through to the '80s. Yet, she has always been drawn to the aesthetic of the '50s. Something about the simplistic elegance of the clothing enticed her. However, as long as she is able to make a story come to life with costumes, she's happy.
